Gedankensalat is one of my favourite German expressions. Thoughts Salad means to have a unorderly chaos of thoughts in the bowl of ones head … I think, it should be as kindly loved as Zeitgeist or Kindergarten.

(Grafimente) - Wieder eine alte Zeichnung, entstanden in der Zivizeit in Marburg für einen Freund, der damals begeistert schwanger ging mit dem Konzept einer Hardcore-Marke inklusive eigener Comicreihe.

Psychoptical Eye

While I did the obligatory social service for 15 month in Marburg an der Lahn (where the Brothers Grimm studied as youngsters and began collecting fairy tales) a friend of mine got very enthusiasic about the idea of founding a own hardcore-comic label. It never got past that state, except for the logo. Voila. — {Drawn in 1996}

(grafimente) - Zu klein um sie wirklich genießen zu können, aber trotzdem kann man sich von dieser kleinen Scann-Version ein Bild von meiner Zeichnung "Improvisation" machen. Das Original (Tusche mit Stahlfeder auf glatten Zeichenkarton) mißt 375 x 270 mm und wurde auch für das Chaos in meinem Logo oben verwendet. Mit Aquarell/Bundstiftkolorierung habe ich es am Wochenende meinem Vater in Hepberg zum Sechzigsten mitgebracht. - Und richtig gute s/w-Plots davon verschenke ich auch mal an Freunde und Freundinnen.

Great Tohuwabohu

(Tohuwabohu = Hebrew for confusion, originally the name for the chaos before creation). The image here is too small for appropriate enjoyment, but I hope you can get an impression. The original measures 375 x 270 mm and was used for the chaos in my logo for Molochronik. Last weekend I gave my father a copy fleshed out with watercolor and pencills as a present for his 60th birthday. I tend to give away black-&-white plotts of it to friends and alike.
